Molonglo Conservation Group (MCG) is calling on kids from Canberra and its surrounding regions to get colouring for conservation from March 3, World Wildlife Day in the Wondrous box-gum grassy woodlands colouring competition.
Open to ages 9 -12, entries need to be submitted by Thursday 24 March. Twenty of the best entries will win a unique hand-printed t-shirt, featuring a local bird species. Details of how to enter below.
The competition is launching alongside a beautiful colouring book, also available for free download on Molonglo Conservation Group's website. Wondrous creatures of the box-gum grassy woodlands: a colouring exploration of a diverse ecosystem, is the work of artist and ecologist Paula Peeters. Her beautiful work depicts a variety of different habitats in our surrounding regions, the animals and plants that live there and how we, as their neighbours, can care for them. Wondrous creatures of the box-gum grassy woodlands: a colouring exploration of a diverse ecosystem is available here.
