In her first Constituency Statement (29 July 2019), Canberra MP Alicia Payne spoke about the local heroes who spend weekends getting their hands dirty in Canberra’s creeks, waterways and bushlands.

She said "They do it because they care deeply for our natural environment and I look forward to continuing to work with them".

We are proud to have worked alongside Alicia Payne in helping her develop a ACT waterways strategy for the ALP at the last election. And we look forward to a continued relationship, advocating for the community and environment.
